Three curandero (plant healing shaman) brothers from Ucuyalli, Amazonas moved to a small plot of land outside of Iquitos to build a school. Their goal is to teach their traditional plant medicine techniques and songs of healing to people all over the world.
Deep in the heart of the Amazon and in the upper North-East portion of Peru, Iquitos is considered to be one of the most isolated cities in the world. Due to it’s lack of roads connecting it to other parts of the country, the only way to get there is by boat or plane.
